When I started my floral design studio (a complete 180 pivot from my career in academia), I did not know what a Floral Mentorship was. If I had, I would have wanted to know if it was right for me and how it could help me move forward with my vision for my floristry practice. Floral Mentorship is an immersive educational opportunity to learn one-on-one with me about your chosen topics of interest in floral artistry and business. The Floral Mentorship process with me always begins with answering a few insightful questions about your vision, your goals, your current experience level, your current pain points or obstacles, and what you most want to get out of your session. This is a powerful step, not only because it lets me know where you are and what you need, but even more so because it empowers you to articulate and clarify for yourself what you need and what will be most helpful for you. Taking your time with answering these initial questions can be one of the most helpful steps in getting the most out of your Floral Mentorship.

Here in the Nectar & Bloom studio, Floral Mentorships with me can take two different shapes:

01 — STUDIO IMMERSION

The Studio Immersion is a 2-day immersive and personally-tailored workshop in hands-on design and business topics of your choice, including all instruction, curated flowers, floristry tools and materials, your welcome gift, lunches, and a styling and photography session together to capture your work. The Studio Immersion is perfect for both aspiring new floral artists and established floral artists, as it can be a great way to build a new beginning or a big uplevel or expansion in your offerings. It is an in-person workshop in my studio in San Diego, making it a beautiful artist's retreat or destination transformative personal and professional experience that gives you access to everything in my studio and how I have things set up for my own work.

02 — REMOTE COACHING

Remote Coaching is a 1-hour remote video session during which we dive deeply into your top questions about your business and brand, and build a strategy for your next steps to move forward. Remote Coaching is perfect for aspiring or established floral artists who are seeking a remote option they can attend from home and a strategically supportive coaching session to gain advice, answers, and a smart strategy for the next steps to take and how to achieve them on your path to your goals.
