Happy birthday season to all the Libras, and happy Libra season to all! Librans are bright and bubbly, and they love all things beautiful. They are cunning, clever, and also conflict-averse, which makes them diplomatic masters of compromise. Libra is symbolized by the scales of justice, weighing options and weighing right from wrong, craving balance above all.
Librans are a contradiction of many things, which makes them fascinating and endearing. They love to make things orderly and beautiful, and their charm warms everyone around them. Their compassion and empathy for others are unmatched (and inspiring!). They just need to make sure they don’t get lost in their generosity and give too much of themselves at their own expense.
LIBRA IN FLOWERS
I’ve created Libra here in the language of flowers, using seasonal and locally-grown blooms cut right at the beginning of Libra season, including bright sunflowers, intricate dahlias, vibrant zinnias, and flighty cosmos that laugh and look around for other options constantly. I channeled Libra’s bright, friendly nature as well as Libra’s love for harmony and balance.

LIBRA SEASON TIPS
An air sign that spans a shift between seasons, Libra ushers in a time of contradictions, choices, and changes. This season can cause us to feel indecisive in the face of new options but also open-minded with new experiences. Keep your wits about you during Libra season, and practice discernment where you might otherwise be gullible. Leverage Libra’s intelligence and frankness when negotiating solutions within yourself and in your relationships. There is a brightness and a lightness to Libra that can bring a flourish of fun to your life if you lean in and embrace this season's shifting nature.
TAROT OF FLOWERS & LIBRA
In the Tarot of Flowers, Libra is associated with the Major Arcana card of Justice, which is embodied by the flower Rudbeckia. Here is an excerpt from the Tarot of Flowers booklet giving insights into this flower and card:
“The scales of Justice take shape in vibrant Rudbeckia, symbol of encouragement, motivation, and integrity. This highly-adaptable and abundant wildflower thrives almost anywhere, growing in front yards, filling entire prairies, surging up along roadsides, and even blooming from cracks in cement. [...] When it appears, it is time to get resourceful and curious. Open up to learning that which you may have missed or overlooked, and release the need to defend yourself or prove that you were right. When you do so, a shift occurs, often bringing with it an immediate sense of relief. The scales rebalance. Opportunities broaden, and like resilient Rudbeckia, an abundance of options seems to bloom wherever you look...”
Happy birthday, Libra! May it be the best year (of experiences and decisions) yet.
